Getting rid of Free POS basic
QuickBooks Point of Sale : Basic 10.0
I have purchased POS basic but cannot find a place to input inventory quantities. Help tells me I am running POS free level eventhough I have registered etc.

Did you purchase Basic, or simply register Free? If it's the latter, then yes, you are still on Free; registration just lets you continue using the software. If it's the former, then call Customer Service (free call), they can check your purchase history and make sure you have an unlock code (if needed) to get you onto the paid version (Basic). Free and Basic are NOT the same thing.

Go to your Windows Control Panel, select Uninstall a Program, select QuickBooks Point of Sale 10.0, select Change, and enter your Basic license and product numbers.
