form for quarterly payments when filing year end 943

What form do I use for quarterly deposits for an agricultural business that files a 943 at the end of the year. I e file and the only options are the 940 and 941, the IRS has told me not to file the 941 for an ag business. I didn't think the 940 was right either. Thanks

The 940 from is definitely not the right one: it is for the federal unemployment tax.

I know you can file the annual 943 from from QB, but I have not found the quarterly deposit for it. I hope that somebody else will be able to help you with it.

If nothing else works, you can always go to the eftps.com web-site and pay the 943 quarterly deposits there. Then you would "pay" it in QB with a check that you do not print and instead of the check number you type EFTPS.

There is no quarterly form for 943.  Beginning 1/1/11 all payments must be submitted electronically; just indicate that it is 943 payment.  You then file 943 at the end of the year.

If you paid wages of $20000.00 in any quarter or had 10 or more employees on payroll on any day you must file 940 and pay FUTA tax.  See IRS Pub 51 (Circular A) for more complete information.
