Fee income from one customer gets lumped into in the sccount of another customer on Profit and Loss and Trial balance. When I look at custoemr reports it seems fine. How did I do this? How can I fix it?

First look at the item used on the customer's invoice, in Lists - Item List - make sure the item has both an income and an expense account assigned. To do this check the small box center left "this item is used...."
I am uncleare about your comment "the account of another customer" so I am unable to clarify any further.
