Federal data in ProSeries Basic not transferred to CA return

ProSeries : 2008

Anyone having problems with CA returns? After updating the ProSeries Basic software, I prepared a new return, but the program failed to transfer the rents on Sch. E or the wage data from the Federal return. Why?

I tested this yesterday and it worked for me in a new federal and a new CA return. Is your return one you transferred from last tax year?

Anything different about this return vs. other California returns you've done?

I'm not having a problem with this either. You could uninstall and reinstall the program including the states, then open and update the installed products. If this doesn't work...call tech taxea

Thank you for both comments. Due to a program update, the 1099-MISC rents are now being transferred from the Federal to the California return okay, but the wage info does not transfer to the W-2 CG. ProSeries Help states that the wage data will not populate the W-2 CG if the return is filed electronically, but I can't get it to pupulate even if the return is not filed electronically.
