Export assets from a 1040 Schedule E to a partnership 1065?
How can I export assets (depreciation, etc) from a 1040 Schedule E to a partnership 1065?
Both are already existing clients in Lacerte

Somehow I think Phoebe once provided a sort of an answer to this type of question, but I don't remember where it is. I don't know if "export assets" as a search term, will yield anything with the search engine.

The solution
Export the depr sch from 1040 (Client menu) and import into 1065 depr screen using the new wizard. Your spreadsheet may need some tweaking in between, but not much.
