Expenses from my credit card
Why do the expenses from my credit card not show up in my chart of accounts balances? I do see them listed on the quick report.

Where are you looking for them? If you go to Reports, P&L, you should see them in the expenses. If you're looking at the chart of accounts, you'll only see the balance sheet balances and not income nor expenses.

Okay, that makes me feel better. But why do I not see a balance on the chart of accounts? What is the point of having a balance column for it?
