do you attach the nys w-2 to page 1 of IT-201 or on the back of the last page?

We attach them to IT-2, which is a required document (if applicable) for the IT-201

I'm not sure where they want you to attach it these days, but I usually put it on the front page so they'll see it. That front page is the bar-code page, and it may be superfluous to attach a W2, now that they have that IT-2 schedule as part of the return, but I figure it can't hurt to attach to front page.

The NYS instructions indicate W-2 forms should Not be attached or sent to NYS.
