Errors in Lacerte 990 processing
LacerteI noticed what seems to be 3 errors in the Exempt Organizaiton processing in the 2009 program where the forms do not agree with the input.
1. The question on form 990 page 12 part XI 2b re an audit of the financial statements is answered no (the box in the Miscellaneous section of screen 50.1 is not checked) however Schedule D pge 4 Parts XI and XII purport to reconcile the numbers on the 990 to audited financial statements.
2. On Schedule J Page 1 questions 5 through 9 apply to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations only but question 9 is answered for a 501(c)(6) organization In addition question 9 should only be answered if question 8 is answered yes.
3. The response on Schedule O for Form 990 Part VI Line 11 is identified as being for line 10. The input for this is on sheet 6 - Other Information toward the bottom.
