I've never gotten that particular message, but a lot of times, quitting the program, then re-entering, helps. Otherwise, rebooting helps. You might try both of those, and then see what happens.
Faith, If rebooting your system didn't help, Try making a copy of the client this happens on and see how that new client works. If this happens with more then one or two clients, You may want to run a reindex/ repair on the file. (Go to the http://www.Lacertesoftware.come site and click on the support link on the top. Then type in "CLPack" to get the detailed instructions on running this.)
