Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). Entity Classification change -How to transfer prior yr data fr partnership to this yr's S corp.

ProSeries : 2011

My client changed its entity classification from a partnership to a S corporation. How to transfer prior year partnership information from proseries to this year's proseries as a S corporation? I am trying to avoid re-typing especially for fixed asset information.

I do not know of anyway to accomplish this without re-typing the information.  What I would do if I was you would be to contact Pro Series Tech support and ask them.  Maybe they have the ability to do something we do not know about.
