How do I manually enter sales into quickbooks? I just opened a business and the pos system does not integrate with quickbooks. At first I thought I could just enter the deposit into the check register but that didn't take into account the net 30's. I am really new at this so working with a journal is unfamiliar to me.

If you have access to the sample company “retailer who tracks summarized sales”, look at some sales receipts. These sales receipts show daily sales.

I couldn't find a sample company. I am not looking for an import. I just want to manually enter the daily sales. Since I have a full time job and just do this in the evenings, I can't call and speak to a rep. So far, the only solution I have is to make a sales receipt for credit cards and a one for cash/checks, and then do a separate invoice for each Accounts Receivable. I made an non-inventory item called daily sales. This was the only way I could figure out to register the total credit card deposits, cash/check deposits and A/R sales. This is working but it sure seems like there should be an easier way.

Search above, right, on "daily sales" using the search box. There have been some very good posts with details on using daily sales, especially by LauraD.
Also, I am not certain Pro has sample companies. I think Pro may have at least a few. You should see a link in the window that appears when you first open QB. I am not suggesting you import anything, just learn from how it is being done.
