Enter cheque numbers manually

QuickBooks UK

Hi

I would like to be able to enter cheque numbers manually when I write cheques, but I must have set things up initially to not do so. How do I change this? Currently, when I capture a cheque, the field isn't modifiable and it just says something like 'to be printed'.

The solution

Uncheck the "To Be Printed" box in the cheque window.

It is just to the right of the Expenses & Item tabs.
