Can I create an email campaign from QBOE?
My first question would be, what do you want to accomplish with the email campaign?
I am not familiar with QBOE, but I just sent out twenty emails to my customers who were late in payments using Microsoft Word Mail Merge using an Excel Spreadsheet that was created from my Customer Contact Report that was exported from QuickBooks. I am assuming you can export reports from QBOE to Excel.
What I did was:
1. Create a generic letter that I wanted to send to my customers.
2. I modified a QB Customer Contact List Report to include the customer information I needed including their email address and exported it to Excel.
3. I opened my letter in MS Word and selected Tools>Letters and Mailings>Mail Merge.
Follow the step by step instructions in Mail Merge and I found it worked great.
Two thoughts: You must save the letter and spreadsheet to your hard drive so the Mail Merge can access them. Also this uses MS Outlook to send the emails. Not sure you can accomplish this with other email programs.
