Eliminating Sales Tax Info on Quotes & Packing Slips
US QuickBooks Premier : 2012: Standard
On packing slips & quotes, how can I eliminate the sales tax info line? It is not appropriate or necessary for this info to be on these forms.

bring up the form, click customize, click customize data layout, click the footer tab, uncheck the fields you do not want to see printed

Good Morning Rustler! I tried to do that, I unchecked the Print box, but I can not uncheck the "screen" box besides Sales Tax. I even deleted the text in the title section. but I still get sales tax text in the body of the form. Think harder please.

Somethings are on screen, there is no option, the thought is who cares, you send the printed version to customers
use help>submit a suggestion or bug
is all I can suggest

But it's still printing the tax info out, even though print is not checked.

That is strange cause I do the same thing and it does not print on mine.
are you sure you have used the packing slip template that you modified? I rename the ones I use with my companies intitials, ir EEC-packing slip, EEC-invoice
