Electronic USB Scales in Shipping Manager

US QuickBooks Premier

We have UPS provided USB scale model Fairbanks SCB-R9000-14ADV.

We upgraded from an old serial cable model from the same company so that Worldship & QB could read the values automatically. We have now transitioned out of Worldship and into Shipping Manager.

There are five options in the "scale plugin" menu screen, none of which are compatible, four of which are Stamps.com branded scales. Which file do I edit to enable support for this scale? I am not interested in buying one from Stamps.com.

This is a USB scale, how different can the data output be from one to another? I'm imagining it's as simple as editing an *.ini file somewhere or installing the scale with a driver for one of the preferred models, whatever works let me know.
