This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! EIC documentation-recordkeeeping

ProSeries : 2011

Am rethinking my filing system-wondering if I might be smarter to create a seperate "permanent" file for some of my clients regarding EIC documentation etc

current system I used to just have a cover sheet advising "permanent info" to move the info to the top of each years tax file so that it was readily available-with the "new" EIC theres more files w/info now

but it's a pain-sometimes it doesn't happen-eventually that file gets destroyed after a number of years-I need something better

any thoughts--have never bought in to paperless-does that allow you to create two seperate files for client??-permanent and tax file??

would also cause some issues with assembly as I use stand alones computer set up-rather than copy could scan in to another computer-transfer files--

Thoughts- ideas-product suggestions-costs----any and all appreciated

If I am busy doing nothing--how do I know when I'm done?????????

Start thinking about scanning and storing in client folders. stand alone computers can be synced with software like pcanywhere... I'd also start considering cloud solutions... But I don't think I'd do a whole lot of thinking about it til the end of April

I'd rather be flying........
