Efile blockage
I have tried to efile two return (individual) and both fail because they "do not meet the conditions for efiling". There is no explanation why?

I assume that you have in fact ran the errors and ommissions, checked to see that all the forms are updated and able to be filed now, and done the conversion checking? The process is really simplified, if you follow the correct methods, I.E. Errors and Ommissions, Conversion, Transmission. In my (10) plus years with ProSeries, I have never seen that statement unless the Return is not completed and the E & O and of course the checkblock for E filing isn't checked in the Homebase view of the return. Take a moment to review your processes and then if you still expierence failures, contact Technical Support and let them walk you through one of the returns. They are knowledgeable and helpful, even for us that are expierienced and sometimes forget where all the bells and whistles are. (Like Parking the Forms Bar!)

We have noticed this as well but only on California returns where there is a domestic partnership (same-sex marriage) and the two are filing separately. There is a workaround for this but it's about 15 steps and it's just easier to have them sign the opt-out form from the state and send in the paper return.
I did not have a problem with other software on the RDP what is the work around as I've sent my taxpayer off believing that I was going to efile. I really don't want to call them back. Thanks
