Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! Editing Spell-checker words I've added

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows

 

Hi!  I'm an engineer here at Intuit working on QuickBooks, and we've heard from you that you would like to be able to remove words from your spell-checker custom dictionary.  For example, if you accidentally add a misspelled word.

This note is to let you know that we are actively working on this idea.  I'll post more when I have news.  Thank you for your feedback, you help us make QuickBooks better.

All you really need to do is edit the file UserDictionary.tlx.  It is contained in a folder like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit\QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions 9.0\

You might keep an original copy in case you mess it up, but you could always just delete it and it'll come back.

 Do you have spellcheck for Romanian? I have the 2008 version and I could not find any. Thank you!
