Easyacct/Proseries Information Transfer
When I try to transfer general ledger account balances over to proseries, I get a message that says company file must first be set up in tax program. Then if I use the browse function to get to the file where the data is saved, rather than just picking the company name from the drop box, it says that the transfer is complete, but the info doesn't transfer when I open the company in Proseries. Anyone else having this problem?Also, when I try and email support it says that I must have a lacerte account number. None of the account numbers or customer numbers that I have worked. Then when I tried to fax a cover sheet to get an account number, as I was instructed, the fax number was no longer in service! After being on the phone and being transfered 3 times only to end up waiting on hold for an hour, I'm hoping some of my peers are having similar problems and may be able to help me. BTW, the support number listed in the easyacct manual is actually a number for Quickbooks "Pro" Advisors and they can't help easyacct customers. Thus, I was transfered 3 times.
