Hi, rjschuetz!

To the best of my knowledge, such a procedure does not exist.

You can create PO's two ways: From scratch or from an Estimate.

From an Estimate you can create PO's, Sales Orders and Invoices.

It sounds like the best way to accomplish what you are trying to (with little to no re-typing) is to have each job start with an Estimate. Then, create your PO from the Estimate (there's an Invoice button at the top of the Estimate window with drop-down choices of PO, Sales Order and Invoice). Once you receive your merchandise/products from your manufacturer, you can either receive inventory with or without a bill. Receiving with a bill will enter information into Enter Bills. Then, from your Estimate, create an Invoice, and you have an option (if you have set it up correctly) to Invoice jobs using billable time/hours from employees and subcontractors, materials purchased (entered bills) and mileage expenses. You can pick and choose what and how much is Invoiced to your Customer.

Using this procedure, you should be able to accomplish what you want with little or no re-typing of information.

Hope this helps!
