Hello, I am a newly Certified QB Pro Advisor in the process of starting my accounting and QB consulting business.
I received the Premier Accountant 2009 with my enrolment for the Pro Advisor program.
I realise that I will also need to get older versions of QB to serve clients that have not upgraded. Any suggestions regarding how far back I should go re earlier versions and where to purchase the older versions.

I wouldn't purchase any older versions unless and until you actually need them--then you can look on ebay. If you use remote access, you can get into your client's data files and you'll be using their version of QB.

One more thought--QB Pro has been on sale for around $100 lately at the office supply stores. The accountant's copy is much improved and 2009 also has Client Data Review which would help save your clients money by helping improve your efficiency in analyzing and cleaning up the data file. Plus, clients love the ability to sort by column in the bank rec window! So, you could ask clients on the older versions of QB to upgrade to 2009! :)
