The 1065 is approved for efiling from the Intuit Tax Online (ITO) product. Are you filing any states? If the state is not yet approved, the message may be referring to the state.

I tried it again, this is the error message:
Error Code: 54
Problem: Your return cannot be electronically filed at this time, approval for e-file from this agency is pending.
Solution: Intuit Tax Online will be updated as approvals from agencies are received. Please click the "ITO e-File Approval by Agency" link in the Important Dates section of ITO e-File Help Center. To access, click E-file Help Center from the Help menu or from the main client page.
That is the error message you would receive if a state is on the efile but is not available for efile yet. If you efile the federal return by itself, it should go.
