Yes, I realize it is only February 9. BUT, I'm already thinking about 4/15. Finally convinced my boss to e-file extensions this year for 1040s. My question is: When the time comes, can you batch the extensions or must you do each one individually?
You can batch e-file extensions just like you can batch e-file 1040's. In the EF Center, highlight those extensions you want to e-file.
You must click the right boxes within each file in order to get the extension ready to e-file, however. Click on Part VII, Info w/s, to activate 4868, then click on 4868 to freeze amounts. Then save and go to EF Center.
