E-file transmitting error with password
I keep all of my Basic client files password protected, but this year (unlike last year) i am prevented from transmitting the files electronically without first removing the password.These are the error messages i'm seeing:Federal - "the converted file...cannot be located."California - "the return selected is password protected. A valid password must be entered in order to process it."That's the message i get AFTER entering a valid password when i selected convert/transmit return.Anyone else having this problem? Know how to fix it?
