E-File Error Code 1105 Form 4562

I received an e-file error code 1105 for Form 4562. It says when more than one Form 4562 is present, Section 179 Summary Form Indicator of the second and subsequent occurrences must not equal "X". For the return I did, each spouse has a Form 4562 associated with their 2106.This is my first year using Pro Series and I have called support twice on this over the past ten days and it still has not been resolved. I was told once that other users have reported this error and they are working on it and the second time they said I was the first person to report this.Has anyone had this error and does anyone know how to resolve it? Thanks for your help.

We have received the same error code. In the TurboTax support forum it shows Intuit knew about this error on 2/19 - it is now 3/14. When will thi sissue be resolved?

The last time I called customer service was on 3/10/07. The issue still had not been resolved as of then. I had first called in before 2/19 (I am guessing I called around 2/13), so the fact that it said in the forum that Intuit knew about the error on 2/19 is incorrect.

I wound up mailing in the federal return for the client I called for on 2/13 and e-filed the NYS return. I called again last week because I have two client returns to do that will have a similar situation to the one I originally called in for.

I made it clear to customer support last time that this had been going on for a month now and was ridiculous. She told me to still mail in the returns into the issue is resolved. That to me is a pretty poor answer and in the case of one of the returns that I have a similiar situation for, the client is out of the country until after 4/15, so I have no way of getting a signature to mail it in.

Bottom line: after about a month, this is still unresolved and there is no time frame for when it will be resolved.

To follow-up to my response the other day, I was able to successfully e-file a tax return with two separate 4562 Forms yesterday, both for the Federal and the state. This was a little different from the problems I had a month ago, as last time it involved a 2106-EZ for each spouse, whereas this time, for one spouse it was a 2106-EZ and for the other spouse it was a Schedule C.

I am going to have a 4562 for two separate 2106s in the next couple of days and I will make another post then.

There should not be a problem with the Error Code 1105 anymore. I had an e-filed return accepted where both spouses had a Form 4562 associated with their Form 2106-EZ

I have received the same error.  I read recently that the updates of March 5 would solve the problem, but they have not.  My client has multiple 4562s, though only one has to be submitted this year, and no 2106.
