No name can be the same in QB. For example, if AT&T is both a vendor and a customer to you, you need to differenciate the names so that they are different from each other even though in reality, they are the same company.
You must figure out which name is a duplicate in QB and change it. There are a lot of lists: you will need to check each list in the List section of QB.
