duplicate check numbers
i received a batch of checks from my bank and the check numbers are the same ones that i already used how do i reuse duplicate check numbers. i keep getting the already used this check message.

The solution
it doesn't matter if you have duplicate check numbers. the check numbers are only used to locate a specific check. over-write the number shown in QB with whatever the actual check number is.

I just added a letter to the end of the number so that if i need to find a specific check number it would be easier. thanks
