Does Quickbooks Pro 2009 have the Daily Sales Summary template?

I have a retail business and I use a basic cash register and I am thinking of purchasing Quickbooks Pro. I would like to know, does Quickbooks Pro 2009 contain the "Daily Sales Summary" template?

The Daily Sales Summary is just a customer invoice form or sales receipt.. I prefer to use invoice form.

Look the help menu for "Daily Sales Summary" to see more details.

A particular form is not required.

Please mark this answer as solved or post additional questions. Thanks so much!!!

Please elaborate -

How would you use an invoice form to track a summary of daily sales?

My motto:
Keep it as simple as you can. . .with only as much detail as you need.

When in doubt, make a backup first!!

I own a retail dollar plus store. At the end of each day, I get a Z1 report from my cash register. I want to take this information from the report and put it in Quickbooks via "Daily Sales Summary" template. Please for give me if I am not using the terminology correctly. I have Quickbooks Pro 2008. I can not find this template via my version of QB. We accept checks, cash, MasterCard, Visa, AMEX, and Discover as payment. I do not need to keep track of individual items that are sold or each customer. I do want to keep track of the following daily information: payments as mentioned above, sales tax collected, discounts, refunds, gift cards sold and purchases made with a gift card, and end of day over/short amounts. I am not sure of what items I should create and what type of accounts I should point them to. I thought if I could find the template this would help me get started.

Thanks for your help,

Michael
