I was hoping that with QuickBooks Pro I could keep track of inventory, do all of my invoicing, and manage customer database needs. Is this true? I have a small volume retail store doing about 350K a year (clothing and uniform sales).
QuickBooks Pro will help you track your inventory and customers. You can setup many different types of inventory items with different measurement types (i.e., case, each, yard). With customers you can track each customer who enters your store by name and provide them with an invoice or you can simply enter a sales receipt and track each sales receipt to a general "Customer" in QuickBooks. You can also track payroll and bills in QuickBooks Pro.
