DMS Archive

Lacerte : 2011

We would like to clean up our DMS database and are wondeing what the best way to do that is. By using the DMS archive feature or by creating a new database for each year we'd like to remove. Any suggestions? Has anyone used the Archive feature?

I have tested the archive feature. It will remove data either by client or by folder.

I'm not really sure what you mean by "creating a new database for each year we'd like to remove." If seeing prior year data in DMS is not necessary, you could just create a new database for each new year.
