Discount Tab disappeared

I have lost my ability to apply a discount upon receiving a payment. The Credit s tab is still available when I drill down, but the Discount tab is gone. Help???

Are you trying to apply a payment that was recorded as a journal entry?

While I appreciate your trying to answer my queries, your premise of my trying to adjust a JE is not correct.

I am in the Record Payment screen trying to apply an early payment discount and the Discount Tab is not there any more.

This issue has nothing to do with JEs.
