Diagnostic Error: Sch C item to be resolved -
In tax year 2010, I used Sch C, but in 2011 I don't have any 1099-Misc income. I didn't put any information in Sch C, why i am getting this error?
How will I fix this error? Thanks for any help.
Go to your ENTER DATA tab and into the Schedule C. The very last question under the second heading, "General Information", should have a "1" in the field - delete this year.
Basically, you currently have a blank Sch C listed in your return, and since there is no purpose for it you need to delete it.
