I used the undeposited funds to enter the check and later I record deposits and print out my deposit slip. wouldn't it suppose to change from "undeposited funds"?

Then why in the business checking account register is my name field blank? It says undeposited funds account, which is correct.

The solution
Because the total deposit could be from multiple names - the details are in the sales reports, not the bank register. The bank register is for recording amounts deposited.
