deposit check amount search

US QuickBooks for Macintosh : 2012

QB 2012 I make a deposit with 4 checks (4 diff $). Then need to find 1 of the cks. Can't find by searching for the individual ck. But can find if I search on total dep $ only. Am I doing something wrong or is this an undocumented feature?

Latest post

Try this:

Open the Search window using Edit menu -> Find or F+Cmd

Type "Deposit" in the Search field

Sort the deposits by using the Date column

That's probably the fastest way I can think of to find your deposit...
