If you set up Payment type items, you can enter the deposit on your invoice.
Link your Payment Type to your Undeposited Funds account and then include that payment in your deposit.
I set up Pmt types for all ways of taking deposits and direct them to the correct accounts according to the way the banking is run.
Credit cards go to the card bank or main bank , cash to cash account cheques to undeposited funds. Only thing is to train the people who do the entry to select the correct pmt type. (Probably the hardest Part)
