Deleting Downloaded Bank Statement

Since I have so many transactions to manually match, even ones previously entereds in Quickbooks showing up in my match transaction window.... can I delete my entire bank statement and re-import the saved QBO files in one month at a time again? Can I safely do this? Right now I have 1 years worth of transactions under the match transactions windows?

No, Audrey, you can 'delete' the download file and revert to balancing your bank statement from the paper statement, not the other way around. Some banks will let you download 'entries since the last download', or, in some cases, 'all transactions', but, this, in my opinion, will not help as banks will only 'hold' transactions for download for a very short period, i.e., 1 - 3 months.

You mention that you have 1 year's worth of transactions in your 'match' file, when was the last time you undertook a Bank Reconciliation?
