Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). Deleting a JE on a Clean up Process

US QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions : 10.0: Manufacturing and Wholesale

I need to delete a Journal Entry that it was a part of " Clean up" process. And it keep saying It cannot be edited. Is there ANY way I can change that?

You can't delete it. You can restore the backup prior to running the clean up.

What happens if I don't have the Backup?? I have to restart the whole company file?? My company  fired the old accountant who did the clean up.

If you restore the back, you will lose everything since that time.

Why not write a reversing journal entry instead of deleting it.
