Debt indicator code I or F
Receive two different acknowledgements back one with a debt indicator code of I and another with a code of F. What do these stand for?

I'm guessing, but my guess is that the I stands for an IRS debt (i.e., back taxes, etc.), and the F stands for FMS (for Financial Management Services, i.e., debts such as student loans, child support, etc.). The number for FMS is 800-304-3107.The client can call to hear a recording as to which agency or agencies have latched on to his refund.

Thanks, that makes sense. The one with code I is for Federal Income tax from a prior year and one of my F's is child support. The mind is getting tired think I better call it a day. Thanks Again!!
