customizing an easy return/invoice/shipping label all in one
I?ve been working on integrating UPS into my website and could use some help in re-formatting invoices and printing shipping labels. What I?m trying to accomplish is to take an order on my website, download customer information from my payment gateway into QuickBooks, generate an invoice for that customer and print one invoice with a shipping and a return label all in one swoop. I don?t know if QuickBooks will do this but it?s my guess that it can. I?ve already linked my payment gateway into QuickBooks and have also setup UPS to where I can print a shipping label from within QuickBooks; I just need to figure out how to generate an invoice and shipping/easy return label together for printing. I want to provide my customers a convenient way to return items if needed by providing them with a pre-printed return label. All they would have to do is remove the sticker from the invoice/shipping paperwork and put it back on the package and give it back to UPS. I know this may sound technical but I think it can be done. Many internet companies provide this type of invoice/return label and I think it?s very professional. I would like to try to figure it out if I can. Any direction you could point me to would be appreciated.
