Customer List

On June 12, 2012 we will be removing the Customer List from your QuickBooks Online service since we’ve replaced it with the Customer Center, which has all of your saved data from the Customer List. We've had the shiny new Customer Center out in market for over a year and we're hearing fantastic feedback on it. Therefore, we feel confident that the Customer Center will serve all of your needs even better than the old Customer List.

I see some of the good in the Client Center but dislike it for several reasons.

BUT my main issue is .... The Client Center DOES NOT do some of the things the Client LIST did = not an improvement. I still marvel at how much time I waste every single day trying to accomplish what I could do & navigate to from the Client LIST that I can't do in the Client Center. (I am mainly referring to navigating to client reports, you simply cannot go there through the Client Center.) What a pain and 50 more steps, ug such a time waster. :(

I have shared this with at least 2-3 reps and sent an email through the help center. I am bummed I have never heard back from anyone. I would love, love, love to talk to someone..... It is my hope there is a quick fix for this OR a way I am not seeing to accomplish where I'm trying to go.
Help!!!

Hi lindik,

Is there a specific client report you're looking for? You can access some of the client reports from the Client Center by clicking on Related at the top right. The Related option also has a shortcut to the client section of reports where you'll have access to all the client reports.

Hi Sherrie,

Thanks for writing back.

I have tried that, though it only takes you to the general reports page.

From the client list when you had the clients account open it would take you that clients "recent payments" or "open balances" report.

From the general reports page is much, much more navigating and customizing. :(

I am open to any other ideas you might have.

I was hoping that they could just ad back that feature when you open up a client from the client center.

Instead of having to navigate away to a report we've made it possible for you to view those transactions on the Client Center. You can change the type of transactions you want to view in the middle section of the client center. In the Transactions section, at the right click the arrow under Show. You can then select Open Transactions or Payments depending on what you want displayed.

Ok, so it's been awhile since I logged in and see that Client List has been removed. I see that Customer Center is now where that info should be found. Where is the link to Customer Center???? It is no where to be found......
