Critical Diagonistic on 1040 requiring Form 2439 - with no investments in REITS or RICS

On simple 1040 got critical diagnostic, Prepare and Attach Form 2439. Client is a person not a REIT or a RIC and has no investments in REITS or RICs. Dividends are Qual, Non Qual and Cap Gain - no ROC. Form 2439 is to be issued by REITS and RICs for return of capital distributions not distributed. How do I fix it?

Is it possible you inputted something into the wrong spot of Screen 17?

I don't know why it's called a "critical" diagnostic, rather than an "informational" one, about attaching a 2439. As you say, you don't issue the 2439, a REIT or a RIC issues it to you. So you could probably ignore the diagnostic. But you may also want to check what's in Screen 17, in case something got coded where it shouldn't have -- and maybe something else that you did want to get coded, somehow did not.
