a guy in the accountants section said to change the file associations.

if doing a web connect download you get a .obo file from the credit card company.

the .obo file type will have a file association in windows.  mine was set to go to qb2010.  i needed to use windows control panel and change the association to qb2008.

then it worked fine  from chase bank.

i didn't have any trouble when i got the data from  a citibank  at&t universal card earlier today though.

still seems like a pain in the neck to have to change the windows file association all the time.

the qbooks file i wanna use is already open for pete's sake.  download the data into my open file already.

jeez
