Copying customer contact info to new Quickbooks account

QuickBooks Canada

when copying customers from one company to a new company in Quickbooks, can I also transfer all the contact info?

How are you copying the info from one file to the other?

Di you export your customer list from the old company to the new company?

exporting an IIF file....and actually i just opened a fake company and tried it out, and answered my own question. All of the contact info copies too!
