Copy multi line text data to another table

I'm trying to combine two tables and to do that, I need to copy multi-line text data to another table. Every time I export into excel then paste "special" to the new field in the new table, any text after a return goes to the next record. I can't say I blame Quickbase for this, because that's how it looks in the text box before it gets pasted in.

Any tricks to make this work?

I love how about 75% of the time I post questions to this forum, I wind up figuring it out myself just moments after. Here's what I did.

I created the reverse of the relationship between them. Then I exported reports with the record ID's in them, and had them sorted in such a way that they lined up. I added the lookup field of what I wanted to pull over, and now I'm pasting in record ID numbers to relate them, followed by pasting over the lookup field. I suppose after relating the records, I could just change the type of the lookup field to become native to that table....hmmm.... I may do that.
