Converting a csv file to an iif file

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows

is there an easy way to convert a bank statement in csv format to an iif format? I am not a programmer and  I read the IIF 

conversion pdf and it will take me more time to learn to program it that actually doing the line by line input.  there has got to be a better way. This is a real shortcoming in QB. I hope someone has a solution

Check the marketplace there are some 3rd party programs that convert csv to IIF files.
