I have just purchased QIF to IIF Converter and spent the weekend following instructions...

IT DID NOT WORK and corrupted my QB 2004, yes I know its old, however it stated that it worked, it does not, at least with the Australian version.

I emailed, and received a automated response.

Fed up!

Ndorf: Thanks for your interest in this tool. The tool does work and works using the old Australian version of QuickBooks you are using.  We have many customers in Australia who are using it.

We did reply to your email request for help first thing in the AM here (we received it at 2AM Pacific time...) the day we received it.  We did not receive any additional responses from you.

After import, the transactions are recorded just as if you'd entered them manually.  They will appear in the register for whatever account you selected as you imported into Excel from QIF, which is the account that appears on the first line of each transaction in Excel.

Recent updates to the QIF to IIF Converter fix a couple of bugs on the Mac OS, and also add more debugging information to output files in case you need to contact support with a question about your IIF file.

Ok I just tried this and it works, The trial version only allows 100 transactions. I have 2008 quick books pro. This is the work around for quick books turning off online banking. Only thing is the full version is 90.00 dollars. So, either way you have to buy and spend money. You might as well buy the newer version of quickbooks. Or google search for a free  QIF to IIF conversion tool. If I find one I will post it.
