I use 2007 Pro and did a "Cleanup" of my Company File. The cleanup process edited or overwote several journal entries (previously condensed transactions) making them out of balance.
Unfortunately, I did not notice this for a few weeks. Is there any way that the file can be fixed? Or some way to get my accounts to balance??
You will have to enter your own journal entry to fix. By the way, I simply never do a condense. There is really no redeeming factor from this tool. It does not save much in space for future file growth and does cause issues with transactions.
