To the best of my knowledge, you can't "really" redact the SSN, but you could create a 2nd file out of the original file, and in the 2nd file, make the husband's SSN be 999-99-9999 (or if you don't pay for REP's, make it be 111-11-1111) and make the wife's be 222-22-2222 and make the oldest kid 333-33-3333 and the next kid 444-44-4444 and so on.
That way you get what looks like a tax return, but it has all obviously "sample" SSN's and not anyone's real SSN. So effectively, it is the person's tax return, with no true SSN showing up.
