Important Announcement! A planned system-wide upgrade will take place over the Memorial Day Weekend in the US (From Thurs, May 24, 2012 at 6 pm PDT thru Tues, May 29, 2012 at 5 am PDT). This includes QuickBooks, QuickBooks Payroll, Point of Sale, & Salesforce.com. This is only for US based products. This does not affect QuickBooks Online customers! During this time, you can shop, but can’t place orders online, activate products or update account info. Company file won't open

US QuickBooks Pro for Windows : 2010

I cannot open my company file. I have rebooted,repaired, and reinstalled QB Pro 2010. I have saved the company file to a new folder, renamed the Autorecovery file and tried the Company File Diagnostic Tool. I am beginning to panic a little.

What happens when you try to open it?  What message do you get?  Did someone update it to a newer year of QuickBooks or to QB Enterprise?

did you go through all 7 of them?  Make sure you follow the directions.  If you go through all 7 and it still doesn't work, call Intuit.
