Can I email a client all payments they made, in 2011, and have a total of those payments? I can export a report and add the sum, however I have a lot of clients. Can I make a memorized report or statement?

Go to the Customer Center and highlight your Customer.
Show = Received Payments
Filter by = All
Date = All
After highlighting your customer, right click on any transaction at the right and View As A Report. Adjust your dates at the top accordingly.
You can go through this process with each customer, or Modify Report and under the Filters Tab, click on name and change the name each time for each Customer.

My Quickbooks Pro is 2009 and “show” is not an option however I modified the “Income by Customer Detail” report with filters on “Account=Undeposited Funds”, “Date=01/01/2011 to 12/31/2011”, “Name=client (not jobs under client)”, “Transaction Type=Payment”.
I changed the report title and subtitle to include tax ID, business address and phone for use with client’s personal tax returns.
As you mentioned in your reply, I do have to “go through this process with each customer” and emailing the pdf file through Intuit with BBC set as my email address to have a record of what was sent.
